8.6 Bass was caught on a Optimum prototype swim bait.
Best one yet, it took a while but it made it in Bass Masters Lunker Page.One of these hogs was caught on a Deps swimbait. Its been a cool month and best is yet to come. I will be fishing the U.S.Open as a Co-angler on July 18-22nd. Tight Lines Chief.

This 7 pound Bass was caught at Lake Piru On a Furbit.
Got home from the western divisionals at lake martinez. Go to Lake Piru, throw the Furbit and score a 7 pounder from the shoreline. Needed that fish for the tournament, oh well thats fishing.Tight lines Chief

Well I had a nice surprise when I got home from Casitas yesterday. My Bass and I made the cover of Western Outdoor News. Its a bummer I could not go out and fish today, but the weather is crazy here In my neck of the woods. It has not stopped rainning and its been very windy too. I had a great three days at Lake Piru, Biggest fish was 7 pounds and I also caught a 5 pounder. Today I caught about five before the Saturday boat traffic got to crazy. I had a nice surprise in the mail I made the The Lunker Club in June's Bassmaster Magazine
WoW, What a weekend fished the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation State qualifier for Souther Cal at Lake Irvine. I made the 2011 team and its my fourth straight year in a row. I place 4th and got to meet some great anglers. Looking foward to fishing with them again.
