About Deadfish Pro Staff Team Member John Harold Hansen III:
My name is John Hansen. I am a professional angler. I started fishing as a little kid and always enjoyed it but, until recently, never saw it as much more than that.
In the summer of 2007, a friend and I started fishing together and fished frequently. We were really enjoying the sport of it; catching fish and being out on the water, so peaceful. In the summer of 2008, I entered my first tournament. A $50.00 entry fee, three hours of fishing, best three fish takes the win. Well, to say the least, We caught about ten fish each, weighed our best three and took second place and $380 dollars home with us! Need I say more? I was hooked! Since then I finshed 9th place over all in the Maryland Bass Federation. I have more than ten top ten finishes, along with 5 first place finishes one of those includes a Maryland Bass Federation tournament. Currently for 2011 I will be representing the Deadfish company as I tour the southern Bassmaster Trail. I am looking forward to the Deadfish Freaks and a great 2011 season!
